Why don’t you try making policy…or at least suggesting it?

I’m someone who generally embraces creativity. I even momentarily defended Congressmen and women twittering during a Presidential Address to Congress (until I actually saw what they were tweeting). But we’re reaching an entirely new low when members of Congress aren’t just going on the Colbert Report (which I think is great move), but are trying to recreate it. Here’s the problem: You’re. Not. Funny. Did you come to Capitol Hill to be “cool” or to lead the country?
Seriously, who are his staff that somehow thought this was a good idea? The only thing worse than a dumb politician is a bad attempt at humor…
