Maine State Senate Passes Marriage Equality!

Maine State Senate just voted to pass marriage equality. The vote was 20 to 15.
Efforts are now being made to put this to a referendum in November as well.
UPDATE: The bill is expected to pass more easily in the House, and Gov. Baldacci has made comments indicating he might support it! (h/t Queerty and Ben Smith)
UPDATE II: The effort to put this to a referendum was defeated.
