Chellie Pingree on the Colbert Report

Representative Chellie Pingree, of Maine’s first district, was on the Colbert Report earlier this week as a part of the “Better Know a District” series. She handled herself well, and didn’t seem to shaken by Colbert’s absurdity. She also doesn’t believe that marriage equality will lead to man-lobster marriages (for the record, he doesn’t want to be involved in either type of marriage).
